Churches and organizations working with college students and young adults are usually looking for intercultural trips that are highly relational, with deep challenges for the students regarding global issues, systemic injustices, and meaningful ministry. Time to interact with global partners on a deep level is important. Living with global church families and being part of their everyday lives is usually a choice if possible. Utilizing the skills they are learning in school and work, in practical ways, is something desired.
Some of the Merge Invite pre-planned trips have a greater element of learning, interaction, and challenges from the global church. These trips will allow for excellent discussion of global issues and intercultural opportunities.
If you have a larger team (15 or more), have school dates for your trip which don’t intersect with a Merge Invite trip, want to be a part of the planning process of the trip, or have specific goals for your trip, then consider going on a Merge Design trip.
If your college/young adult group desires to engage in inter-cultural conversations throughout the year, then Merge Connect is for you. We can organize and implement three, one-hour virtual conversations between your students and a global partner.
