Disaster Response Trips
Merge is sponsoring disaster response and rebuilding trips for Covenant churches in partnership with the Evangelical Covenant Church’s Love Mercy Do Justice team.
CURRENT TRIP OFFERINGS
Mound Bayou, Mississippi
Flooding in July 2021
Needs: sheetrock installation, taping/mudding, floor installation, cabinet installation, electrical, door & window replacement
- Suggested donation: $25 per person per day (food & housing included).
- Experienced construction workers and helpers needed.
- Bring your own tools.
- All construction materials supplied by the Mississippi Emergency Management Administration and the Bolivar County Long-term Disaster Response Committee
- Partnerships: Bolivar County Long-Term Disaster Response Committee, Walk of Faith Covenant Church, and local churches of Bolivar County
Luka, Mississippi
Tornado in August 2021
Needs: roofing
- Suggested donation: $25 per person per day (food & housing included).
- Experienced construction workers and roofers needed.
- Bring your own tools.
- All construction materials supplied by the Mississippi Emergency Management Administration
- Partnership: Mississippi Emergency Management Administration
Dawson Springs, Kentucky

Needs: complete home rebuilds
- Suggested donations: $25 per person per day (food & housing included).
- Experienced construction workers and helpers needed.
- Bring your own tools.
- All construction materials are being fundraised. Donations for building materials are greatly appreciated.
