GLOBAL VISION TRIP - CANDELARIA, HONDURAS - July 13-18, 2026
Join with Covenant World Relief and Development on a unique vision trip to the beautiful, mountainous Lempira region of western Honduras.
Participants will have the opportunity to visit rural communities where our trusted partner COCEPRADIL is carrying out incredible water and food security projects.
The journey into Lempira is part of the experience itself. The roads are rough, possibly muddy and winding through the breath-taking mountains. What awaits at the end of those roads is remarkable communities filled with resilience, warm hospitality, and unforgettable meals of fresh tortillas shared with conversation around Cocepradil tables. You will experience the people, culture and celebrations of this vibrant community. It is the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave.
During the trip, you will visit villages where communities have worked side by side with COCEPRADIL to build reliable water systems that serve every household, school, and health clinic. Each project provides families with clean water connections, toilets, showers, and water meters services comparable to those of a small public utility in the United States. Community members themselves contribute labor to complete these systems, often digging miles of trench for water pipelines. Though this is not a work project, hands-on experiences may be part of the itinerary.
This vision trip is designed to give participants a firsthand look at the impact of Covenant World Relief and Development’s partnerships. You will meet local leaders, hear stories from families whose lives have changed, and witness how community-led solutions are creating sustainable transformation in one of the most remote parts of Honduras. It will be a trip filled with learning, relationships, and inspiration.
