For the last several years Rev. Professor Boaz Johnson has taken his university students and fellow Covenanters to the Hindustani Covenant Church (HCC) to learn from our courageous sisters and brothers in Pune:
- Our nursing students learn from the community health programs of the HCC.
- Our educations students learn from the education offered to kids in the ragpicker communities.
- Our science students learn from the Solapur Water Project, which provides water for the most vulnerable area, where thousands of farmers commit suicide due to drought and poverty.
- Our economics students learn from the small-bank projects of HCC.
- Our sociology and psychology students learn from the House of Hope, a home where women rescued from sexual slavery are given education so that they would live self-sufficient lives.
