MAHARASHTRA, INDIA - May 30-June 7, 2026
Dr. Boaz Johnson of North Park University is inviting you to visit the Hindustani Covenant Church (HCC) ministries in Maharashtra, India, including site visits in Mumbai, Pune, and Solapur. The team will learn from a church confronted by the enormous biblical issues of extreme poverty, human trafficking, lack of educational opportunities, and more. In the midst of this the HCC is thriving even under the persecution of the Hindu government.
In Mumbai the team will visit the ragpickers ministry at the city dump and connect with several other local ministries. From there they will travel to Pune to visit the headquarters and churches of HCC, and see their ministries serving trafficked women, the Red-Light district, small business enterprises, education for children in slums, and others. Finally, the team will visit Solapur to learn about programs focused on education, clean water, agriculture, and medical care in rural areas.
