Sending Latin American Missionaries
Sending Latin American Missionaries
LATIN AMERICA AND THE CARIBBEAN | PROJECT GOAL: $41,000
For the gospel message to be good news for all, it needs to be deeply contextual. The way it is shared must value the unique characteristics of each person and culture. People who know the language, values, and customs of the region are uniquely equipped to share the gospel message.
We are excited to partner with Confraternidad de Iglesias del Pacto Evangélico (Confraternity of Hispanic Covenant Churches, or CIPE) to send short-term missionaries from Latin America to Latin America and Spain, bringing a message that speaks directly to the cultures they serve. By sending missionaries from Latin America, we affirm God’s call for all to be full participants in God’s global mission and to close the gaps that can make cross-cultural ministry difficult.
The vision for this initiative began in 2015 with a clear, compelling desire: to send missionaries who are rooted in Latin American contexts and who can communicate the gospel in a way that resonates with people across the region. From evangelism and church planting to discipleship and social service, the short-term missionaries trained and sent by CIPE will bear witness to the hope of Christ in a way that honors the rich diversity of the people they serve.
Missionaries will work alongside Covenant churches, entrepreneurial associations, and local organizations to offer holistic support in evangelism, leadership training, social services, and pastoral care.
Will you support CIPE and their partners as they bear witness to the love of Christ through meaningful relationships, deep learning, and mutual growth?
