Strengthening Women Heads of Households in Mauritania
Strengthening Women Heads of Households in Mauritania
MAURITANIA
This project aims to support 150 women heads of households in livelihood improvement through literacy classes, psychosocial support, marriage counseling, economic empowerment, and health education. Our partner works to leverage local community skills to develop women’s economic resilience. They facilitate access to micro-grants, savings programs, and family support to enhance women's independence and stability. The project also involves community awareness campaigns and organizational development to strengthen local support groups and address gender-based issues.
